Lipgloss vs Lip Stain

Lip Gloss

Lip gloss is a quick and easy way toget a hint of color. They come in different finishes. One finish is high shine which is very glossy and looks almost wet. Creamy lip gloss has a dense color of a lipstick. Sheer and opaque lip glosses provide a hint of color and lots of shine. Sparkling glosses come with glitter in it.

Lip Stain

Lip Stains give you a hint of color that will last for hours. Think of it as a marker with pigment.
Lip stains are good if you want a long lasting color that won't rub off or smuge.
Now most lip stains come in a pen form. Lip stains, however, do not have any shine. If you want shine add some lip gloss over it. People prefer lip stains over long lasting lipstick/glosses because they don't dry out your lips. Long lasting lipstick/glosses tend to dry out your lips because of the ingredients they have.

Until next time,
