I was first introduced the the MUD makeup sponges while I was completing my beauty course there. Since then I have tried other sponges, however they don't work as well as the MUD ones.

These sponges give an even and smooth application, they do not leave any streaks. They make blending super easy and quick. Also, they do not absorb a lot of the foundation like other sponges do.
Personally I prefer using these sponges when applying foundation versus a brush. They give better coverage and the skin absorbs the foundation better. With a brush it sometimes feels like the foundation is just laying over your skin, and takes a while to become absorbed into the skin.
