Layers and Layers of Foundation
Avoid layering your foundation because this will leave you with unnatural looking skin. Your skin will also be blotchy.
Bright lip stick and heavy eye shadows
Decide on either bright lips or heavy eye shadows. When you apply a bright lip stick apply lighter and more natural eyeshadows. Bright lips look very nice with a winged eye liner and natural lids.
Penciled in eyebrows
Eyebrows are not one solid color or a solid line. Instead try using a eyebrow powder with a angled brush. If you are going to use a eyebrow pencil blend it in with the angled brush. NEVER use black on your eyebrows even if your hair is black.
Brown Lipstick
This look was from the early 90's and should stay in the past. Brown lipstick does not compliment anyone instead it makes them look older and brings out the yellow undertones from the skin.
Noticeable Lip Liner
This is one of those things that should stay in the past as well, this is not flattering. Lip liner is meant to keep the lipstick from bleeding or to correct the shape of your lips. It is not suppose to be noticeable! Use a lipliner the say color of your lipstick and make sure to blend it!
