NYX Rouge Cream Blush Review

So a few weeks ago I purchased two cream blushes from NYX. Check out this post, http://wearethewicked.blogspot.com/2011/07/nyx-cosmetics-part-1-order-from.html, to see the swatches. I bought shades, golden and glow. 

After trying them, I have to say they are great! They are very pigmented, so you have to be very careful not to apply too much. Also, you need a very small amount. Golden has a slight shimmery finish which gives the skin a very nice glow. 

One of my main concerns was that it would feel heavy or sticky on my skin, however it dries to a powder finish and does not feel heavy or sticky. They also last a very long time without fading. 

You have to be very very careful when taking some of the blush out of the case because it is very creamy, therefore if you are not careful you will pick up way too much product. 

You can apply the blush with your finger by dabbing it on you cheek and then smudging it upwards towards your cheekbones. You may also use a brush and swirl it in a circle, the same as when you are applying powder blush. Another option is applying the blush with a sponge by also blending it upwards to your cheekbones. 

I will definitely be buying more shades of this blush, because they give the skin a very nice glow and are very affordable.

Cherry Culture Part 2- NYX Round Lipstick Swatches

So here are the NYX Round Lipstick's I ordered. I did a previous post of the other products I bought, so check that out at well. 

First of, I decided to order more of these lipsticks because a while back I ordered about  20 of them and really liked them. I might consider doing some swatches of them as well. These lipsticks are really creamy and moisturizing, which is very surprising considering the price. One of the main reasons I like them is because they don't irritate my lips. I started using Blistex Lip Medex when I was 10 years old, so now 11 years later I have a bad addiction to it.

I think using so much Blistex has made my lips sensitive to certain lipsticks and lip glosses especially the one's with shimmer, I just can't wear them at all.  

 In this order I basically ordered pinks because that's what I mostly use. I have to say I love every single color, something I wasn't expecting. 

In the swatches below the photos with the flash are a more accurate representation of what each color looks like in person. However, in the first set of lipsticks I couldn't use the flash because they are really light colors, but the color is fairly close in the photo.

NYX Cosmetics Part 1- Order from Cherryculture.com
