Taut Perfect Brow Control Review

Price- $10.95
For some reason I never did a review on this product, and just realized this yesterday while I was looking through my makeup.

The Taut Perfect Brow Control is described as follows:

A clear liquid designed to keep brows in place all day. Controls, separates and keeps brows groomed all day. A makeup artist must-have.

This product helps keep unruly brow hairs in place. You can also use it even over any eye brown make-up and it works great as a sealer. The applicator looks just like a nail polish brush. But you can apply it with a clean mascara wand, this helps and makes it easier to apply.

Honestly, I completly forgot I had this, and therefore have not been using it. However, this is a great product to use for special occasions especially during the summer. This does a great job at maintaning your eye brow makeup even if you sweat or rub it by accident. It does feel a little weird at first because it makes your eyebrows feel stiff, but you'll get used to it after a little while.

This is definitly a great product to hold any brow hairs in place or for a special occasion, such as a wedding.

Sinful Colors Miss Sinful Colors American Beauty Collection

By now most of us know that Sinful Colors has a tendency to dupe (or attempt to dupe) most OPI collections. On a recent trip to Rite Aid this is what I found:

Pretty obviously trying to copy the OPI Miss America collection that came out a little while ago. Now I know that copying is inevitable but come on! Same theme and everything! They did the same thing with the OPI POTC collection and even the Nicki Minaj collection (which I forgot to take a picture of). I really don;t mind similar colors or getting ideas from others, but blatant copying is just ridiculous, especially if it comes out way after the original collection. So obvious.

But anyway, I saw these at Rite Aid and as you can see they are $4.99 each which is expensive for Sinful Colors. I'd rather spend the $3 extra and get the real thing.

Deborah Lippmann Mirrored Chrome Collection!

This is going to be a good one!

Left to right:
Swagga Like Us- oxidized copper teal (similar to Chanel Peridot, but not a dupe)
Private Dancer- gilded ultra violet
Sugar Daddy- antiqued champagne

You can find swatches of these on Google already, so if you want a real-life look at them I say check those out. I actually purchased my first Deborah Lippmann polishes about a week ago when she had a pop-up 60% off sale on certain shades. Luckily Sugar Daddy was one of them and I had to have it. When I actually get it I'll do a full review.

Gradient and Leopard Print!

I finally learned the trick to gradient nails!

Yes! The polishes I used are Sally Hansen Blue It, Sinful Colors Black on Black, OPI Alpine Snow and Milani Twinkle.

For the gradient nails, I did two coats of Blue It then took a make up sponge, painted a strip of Black on Black and a strip of Blue It and then blotted it on my nail until it looked blended. I could have blotted a little bit more, now that I look back.

Then I did a freehand leopard print on my ring finger. I did a coat of Black on Black as the base then made some spots of Twinkle (which took a little maneuvering of glitter), then used Alpine Snow and a tooth pick to draw the spot outlines. I found that it was much easier to use a toothpick than a detailing brush. A dotting tool would also work, I just don't have one.

Then I did a coat of Essie Good To Go on every nail. This mani actually lasted almost a week and I did not pick at it once! I really like how it turned out and I'll definitely be trying out some other gradients!
