Arsenal's Charlize angel! A-Lister Theron lights up the Emirates

Hollywood actress Charlize Theron added some glamour to the match - and showed off some hand signals of which Arsene and Sir Alex would be proud.

Another big game, another chance for Dimitar Berbatov (the Premier League's top scorer with 21 goals) to warm the bench. The ex-Spurs man was booed when he came on after 74 minutes and then faded away.

Only four players who started for Arsenal - Laurent Koscielny, Robin van Persie, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy - were born when Ferguson took over at United in November 1986.

Arsenal's new kit for next season, modelled by Gael Clichy (right), celebrates their 125th anniversary with a symbol of strength around the badge. It may be based on their 1970s design, but the motto 'forward' under the crest shows how the club are thinking.

Michael Owen made his 10th Premier League appearance of the season and will win his first title medal if United recover from their wobble, but team-mate Fabio is still a game short of the required number.
