OPI Nicki Minaj Save Me!

My Urban Decay Book of Shadows that I ordered from Hautelook came today! Like 5 days early too, which is awesome. I'm super excited about it and will possibly review it at another time, but something dawned on me today, I never posted Save Me! I jumped right on to press releases and completely forgot about this, yeah I have no idea how that happened!

Pointer- three coats of Save Me

Middle- one coat of Save Me over Pink Friday

Ring- one coat of Save Me over Did It On 'Em

Pinky- one coat of Save Me over Fly

The whole set on one hand haha. Save Me is a clear base with a ton of silver micro glitter and holo bar/string glitter. The bar glitter is holo, but its main colors are pink and blue. It is also super dense and if you want to layer it over other colors you'll need to really wipe most of it off the brush. On the other hand, because it is so dense it only takes three coats to get pretty opaque. If you do want to layer it up on its own, the good thing is that is dries super fast because it is a glitter.

In general, I liked the whole set. It had two colors that I wanted in regular sized bottles, so it was convenient for me. I definitely like the quality of all the polishes, but I don't expect less from OPI. Some were a little more sheer than others, but it's not really that much of a negative. All of the polishes in the set dry very quickly and have nice formulas, so good things all around. If you are looking to get some of these colors in regular bottles, I really suggest this set!

OPI Nicki Minaj Pink Friday!

It's my sister's 9th birthday today woohoo! (shout out). So what better color to show you today than Pink Friday (well, glitter would have worked too, but ya know).

Pink Friday, two coats. This is a bubblegum pink creme. I think it's slightly cooler toned, which is really nice. This one looks the creamiest and smoothest and that's why it's my favorite (even though I'm not a big pink fan). I like that this isn't a super obnoxious, look-at-me pink.

This formula was good just like the others. I think this formula was just a bit creamier and covered a little bit better than the other two. 

In general, all the formulas were smooth and covered well, though some were more sheer than others. It also dried very very quickly, which OPI is always great with. Also they were pretty shiny without a top coat.

OPI Nicki Minaj Fly!

I was kind of excited when I first saw this color and was actually thinking of buying a full size

 

Fly, two coats. This is an aqua creme. It's a little darker than traditional 'aqua. I like the color, definitely think it would look better on short nails though. I like how bright it is without being neon.

The formula on this was better than Did It On 'Em. It was less sheer and needed less coats to be completely opaque. It was smooth and has really nice coverage. I wish it was a little creamier, but other than that it's a really nice formula. OPI really never disappoints formula wise.

OPI Nicki Minaj Did It On 'Em and Urban Decay on Hautelook!

This is my least favorite of the minis, so I wanted to show it first.

 

Did It On 'Em, three coats. This is a tennis ball / lime creme. I was anticipating it being a little more lime green than tennis ball colored, but it leans that weird yellow green color. Eh. 

The formula on this was good, it was smooth and covered nicely but was kind of sheer. I needed three coats to get it really opaque. It was the sheerest of the three minis cremes that were in the set. I was really expecting a thicker, one-coat-coverage formula, but maybe I've just been spoiled by Zoya. Really, there were no problems with it, besides the sheerness.
